There isn't one single best month for every part of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka's weather varies considerably between regions. While the south and west are generally most attractive during one part of the year, the east coast comes into its own during another.
That means there is usually somewhere worth exploring — choosing the right region for your travel dates is more important than simply choosing a “best month”.

Dress respectfully. Shoulders and knees should generally be covered, and shoes/headwear may need to be removed at religious sites.

Which coast should I choose?+
